Product Description:

Aluminum Tread plate is commonly known as“Diamond plate”because of diamond-shaped pattern.Aluminum tread plate is commonly seen on fire trucks and truck toolboxes.

The 6061-T6 Aluminum Diamond Tread Plate has the highest corrosion resistance of all heat treated aluminum. It is an alloy of silicon and magnesium. It is less powerful than other similar aluminum but is still widely used. This is partly due to its corrosion resistance and in part due to its excellent mechanical properties. There are a number of ways to form 6061 aluminum, for example by machining and welding. The alloy has a workability rating of 90%. It also has good connectivity. The product can be anodized or coated with other coatings if desired.
